Celebrating Our Successes

Safe Online has supported the Marie Collins Foundation since 2019 in our effort to tackle technology-assisted child sexual abuse both nationally and internationally. As we come to the end of this project we want to share the fabulous resources and partnerships developed to assist practitioners across the globe to respond to children in a way that does no further harm.

Overview of project:

  • We have attended two convenings in Brussles and Thailand
  • We have presented at conferences in Nigeria, South Africa and Colombia
  • We have attended international meetings in London and Washington about AI, Deep Fakes and the emerging risks to boys of financial exploitation

  • We have developed multiple resources (see below)
  • 3,075 copies of our e-safety training have been disseminated to children in 100 schools across Vietnam (they are avaible in both English and Vietmanese)
  • 140 parents recieved e-safety messaging
  • 420 teachers were supported in delivering appropriate e-safety messaging
  • We have trained police in Namibia on interviewing skills and child investigator skills
  • We have provided a facility for professionals to seek advice and guidance from MCF staff
  • We have brought partners from across the globe to collaborate with DRAGON and to embed the voice of Lived Experience
